Chicago Budget Hearings 2025. This past week, we’ve been digging into the proposed 2025 city of chicago budget to closely scrutinize the revenue and appropriations in this year’s budget and determine what changes. On or before october 15th, the mayor submits a proposed budget to city council, and the city council conducts hearings on the budget, including at least one public hearing to gather.
